Developed by Sport England, Clubmark is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections in England. To find out more information, visit the Clubmark website – www.clubmark.org.uk

As accreditation covers all areas of a club’s operation you will find more information on specific aspects elsewhere on the Help for Clubs website. For example, take a look at the recently updated club development section for help with planning for the future.

You may also find it useful to look at the Child Protection section as this is a fundamental element of most accreditation schemes. In addition Children 1st has also recommended a minimum operating standard for all sports clubs to reflect the need for a safe environment for children. Further information and support can also be obtained from the Children 1st and Child Protection in Sport website. Links to these can be found in the see also section in the right hand panel.

If any of your members require training before your club can achieve accreditation, sports coach UK and runningsports are a good place to start. Links to their website can also be found in the right hand panel.

The UKCC website is also a great resource, with all the information you need to ensure your coaches are trained to a recognised standard of competency.
