Where can I get more information?

Body Text

Club development involves many areas such as juniors, school club links, funding and volunteers. For more detailed information take a look at the other pages of the website.

Help throughout all stages of the club development process is also available from other sporting agencies, such as:

  • Local authorities
  • Local sports councils
  • Scottish Governing Bodies of Sport (SGBs)

Contact details for these can be found in the "see also" section in the right hand panel.

There are also many programmes and organisations that can provide information and training on specific aspects:

  • Clubmark - accreditation and best practice for operating a high quality club
  • runningsports - information and training for volunteers
  • sports coach UK - supporting coaches and coach development

We have also produced a factsheet “10 steps to successful club development”. This can be downloaded from the right hand panel.
