It's worth downloading a copy of the runningsports: How to Communicate Effectively booklet which provides plenty of helpful advice for club officers and volunteers in making effective communications at meetings and elsewhere.

runningsports have also produced a booklet entitled “Promoting and marketing your club” that explains what marketing involves and how to get the most from it.

sportscotland, in collaboration with SPORTSMATCH has also produced a booklet and useful templates to help clubs build strong relationships with their sponsors.
